We know they give us a lot of scares, and we know they’re not pretty creatures, but we also know you should never (ever) get rid of them… centipedes or any other animal for that reason.
I’m not going to say the logical thing, try to take them out in the garden, because I think and I hope we all do that already, don’t we? Killing the species that come into your home is not an option, you affect the planet too much. But ending the life of a centipede can affect you more than you can imagine. I’m sure for many people insects are a nightmare, and you run away while producing a loud shriek. But it’s best to relax, breathe and leave it alone.
Pest control experts advise us not to do anything to them and, on the contrary, to leave them free in the damp and dark corners of our homes that we don’t frequent. Why? The reason will relieve you a lot. These little animals are predators of others that give you worse scares. They are in lonely corners looking for cockroaches, ants, spiders, termites, and even beetle larvae.

Their Little Arms Are Poisonous Fangs
It is much more common to see them in summer because in the cold season, they hibernate, but when it is so hot, they look for cool, humid, and dark spaces such as the shower, behind some furniture, and even in the faucets. And I know what you’re thinking: no, I’d better adopt them and let them kill all the other insects. Well, that’s not the idea either, just if you see them around, leave them, because they are super fast, and catching them is complicated. If you can, guide them to go to the trees or plants.
Now, it is very important to consider when you find a lot of them. This means that you have a pest, and that is not good either. If you see one or two in the year, it’s perfectly normal.
