Either way, you can be the star of the event with these unique festive drinks that aren’t only quite easy to prepare, but also have those traditional flavors of the season.
Let others bring the Christmas treats. Grab some shakers, peppermint schnapps, and some candy canes, and become the true bearer of happiness at your Christmas parties.
Peppermint White Russian
White Russians are a perfect winter drink, but with some peppermint, we can make it really Christmassy.

First thing is to prepare your glass. To have a nice candy cane rim, you’ll have to dip the rim of the glass into melted white chocolate or white chocolate syrup and then into the finely crushed candy cane.
Pour a bit of chocolate syrup on the glass and in a shaker mix peppermint vodka, peppermint Kalhúa, and the Half and Half. Add ice into the glass and pour your beverage.
Garnish your fancy drink with a candy cane and serve!
Frosty Daiquiri
If you are on the beach or wish you were spending Christmas there, this drink will be perfect for you.

Mix the rum, the lime juice, the syrup, and the peppermint liqueur in a blender with half a cup of ice. Blend perfectly until you have a slushie texture.
Dip the rim of your glasses on lime juice and then on red sugar and add the mix. Voilá! Less than 5 minutes!
Eggnog Martini
You can’t say Christmas without the traditional eggnog. If you love this drink, this martini will blow your mind!

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add vanilla vodka, amaretto, and eggnog. Shake for at least half a minute, so the liqueurs mix perfectly with the eggnog.
Garnish the rim of your glass with simple syrup and grounded nutmeg (or black sugar) and pour the mix. You can also add a cinnamon stick to decorate the glass.

This one is probably the most simple of them all. In a copper mug (to keep your drink cool), add the lime juice. the cranberry juice, and ice. Pour the vodka and fill the mug with ginger beer. Garnish your drink with a slice of lime and a bunch of cranberries.
Candy Cane Punch
You can’t have a party without the traditional punch. This candy cane punch will surely be the star of the night.

In a saucepan with low fire, melt the strawberry jelly with two cups of lime soda. Set the mixture apart to chill. Once it’s lukewarm, add six cups of ice cream in a bowl, add the jelly mixture and the strawberry vodka and stir softly to avoid the ingredients from separating. Slowly add the remaining soda and ice cream and mix well. Serve in garnished glasses with crushed candy canes and syrup on the rim and decorate with a candy cane.
Cocoa Martini
Turn your classic hot cocoa into a delicious cocktail, marshmallows, and everything!

Prepare your glass first by dipping the rim on chocolate syrup, and drizzle the inside of the glass with some of that syrup. In a shaker, mix Baileys, chocolate liqueur, vodka, and a bit of cinnamon powder. Fill with ice and shake consistently for about half a minute. Serve in the glasses and garnish with marshmallows and shaved chocolate.
Snowy Martini

To prepare your glass, coat the rim with syrup and coarse sugar. For the cocktail, fill a shaker with ice and add vodka, white chocolate liqueur, creme de cacao, and Half and Half. Shake well and serve in the glass. To garnish the drink, add some pomegranate seeds and a mint leaf.
Peppermint Martini
A holiday version of the traditional cosmopolitan that nobody will resist.

In a shaker filled with glass, mix the vanilla vodka, the peppermint schnapps, and the syrup. Shake for about half a minute or until the mix is even, and pour into a glass of martini previously garnished with crushed candy cane and syrup on the rim. You can also add a candy cane or some mint springs.
Cranberry Old Fashioned
This one goes for the old souls who can’t live without their bourbon. Relax, it isn’t sweet, it’s just a Christmassy twist to the traditional Old Fashioned.

Hot to make Cranberry Old Fashioned
To make the cranberry syrup from scratch, add two cups of water, one cup of sugar, and one cup of fresh cranberries. Let it boil on low fire and keep stirring until you have a consistent mix. Once it’s boiling, let it cook for about five minutes. Strain the mix and let it cool.
Fill a bourbon glass with ice. Add the whiskey, the cranberry syrup, and the Angostura bitters. Stir gently and garnish with orange peel, fresh cranberries, and a twig of rosemary.
Pomegranate Champagne
Go for something fancy yet very jolly with this delicious sweet pomegranate champagne cocktail.

Before starting make sure the champagne and the pomegranate juice are cold. Add some pomegranate seeds to the bottom of a champagne flute glass. Pour the pomegranate juice, the Cointreau, and the sweetened lime juice. Fill the flute with the champagne and enjoy.
