Dating App Reveals Ages Users Find Opposite Gender Most Attractive
Have you ever wondered what age you’d like your next partner to be, or at what age you consider someone of the opposite gender to be most attractive?

Surprisingly, this question has sparked curiosity in many, which is why the dating app OkCupid took it upon themselves to gather the results.

Using user data, they created a graph showing the ages of the respondents and their answers to the question, “What age would you like your future partner to be?”

Survey Results Of The Dating App’s Data

Instagram user ‘frysquared’ shared a video on her account analyzing the situation and the survey results found in the book ‘Dataclysm‘ by Christian Rudder, one of the many who used the app.

The results surprised not only her but also other X users, who have started conversations about it.

The graph shows that younger women prefer men slightly older than themselves, and as they age, they begin to be interested in men slightly younger than themselves.

For women, the age of men they find most attractive increases as they get older, which is very different from the case with men.

In the second graph, which corresponds to men, the results are very different and concerning.

When men are younger, the age range of women they find attractive is between 20 and 25 years old, and as they age, this number does not increase.

According to the graph, a 50-year-old man still finds women between 20 and 25 years old most attractive and prefers them as partners.

Of course, this graph speaks to an evident reality.

According to ‘Mejor con Salud’, “It is said that women choose mature men because they feel protected, but also that men like younger women to feel more youthful.”

However, the underlying issue is much larger, involving a culture of machismo, sexualization, and even psychological factors.
