From the classic and very popular off-the-shoulder tops that won’t let you lift your arms even one centimeter without falling all over your arms, to the dumb mini handbags that won’t even hold a tube of lip gloss, there’s a long list of impractical items that can be extremely useless yet quite fashionable. Our star today kind of fits in this category, but they are so cute and stunning that it’s hard to say no to them. Of course, we’re talking about the popular bracelet bags you’ve been seeing all over the internet.
As the name indicates, the whole point of bracelet bags is that you can hang them on your wrist so you don’t have to carry them on your shoulders (for whatever reason). Also, these holders are a fashionable and cute statement that will add a nice detail to your outfits.
Now, why useless? Though bracelet bags come in all shapes and sizes, it’s true that most designs are quite small, meaning you won’t be able to carry that much with you. This, in a way, happens for a reason and that is, you’re supposed to be carrying the bag (and the few things you can fit inside) with your wrist, so it should be light, so you don’t get tired.
Which brings us to our next point: practicality. As someone who appreciates and prioritizes comfort, the idea of having one of my hands busy carrying a bag doesn’t sound very appealing. Some designs do include a strap, but then it misses the purpose of the bag itself.
