Boyfriend goes viral for millionaire wedding in paris, today faces life in prison

This is gossip and not pieces: It turns out that just a few days ago Jacob LaGrone and his millionaire girlfriend, Madeline Brockway, offered “the wedding of the century.” It was an absolute madness that went viral on TikTok: it lasted five days, took place in Paris, included a night at the Palace of Versailles, a performance by Maroon 5 at the reception, and was valued at $59 million.

The “And they were happily ever after” lasted a couple of weeks, since now the boyfriend faces charges for having shot three police officers. The shocking wedding only happened on November 18, but the Jacob LaGrone incident was earlier, on March 14. LaGrone was formally charged after three police officers reported him. According to the statements, they were shot when they went to respond to a report of firearm use at home.

The man faces three counts of aggravated assault on a public servant and could face a sentence of life in prison, according to local reports. LaGrone paid a bail of 20 thousand dollars to continue the process in freedom… any minor expense for that family.

Wedding

According to Daily Mail, LaGrone had been offered a plea deal that would mean 25 years in prison. However, he did not accept it and attended the hearing. The legal process will continue in the coming months.

Wedding 2

Some media outlets highlight that, if the wedding had not been the online phenomenon that it was, this case probably would not have been so media-friendly. Before that, the Brockways were just another Texas tycoon with businesses in Florida.
