In 2015 Johnny Depp was supposed to go to Japan to promote Mortdecai, which he starred alongside Gwyneth Paltrow. However, he was unable to attend the appointment, so what did Johnny do? He sent this fantastic apology:
“Yesterday morning I was attacked by a strange animal called a chupacabra. I fought with it for hours. They are very persistent and very evil. I am sure he came in my suitcase. I threw him off a 23rd floor, so we’ll never see him again.”
The truth is, he had a slight cold.

Johnny Depp took his beloved dogs with him to Australia. However, he didn’t bother to do some research on the procedures and requirements to bring animals into the country; including matters like rabies control, vaccinations, etc. So when he arrived, the authorities threatened him with sacrificing the little ones, put him in prison for not following the health standards, and threatening the Australian population with Pistol and Boo. Johnny left the country immediately. The Australian Minister of Agriculture said that if they started breaking the rules for movie stars, even for the sexiest man in the world, they would have to do it for everyone. So, he sent the three boys back home.
Free and carefree
His creativity and unique way of portraying each of his characters increased when he stopped worrying about the public, media, and critics. He stated in an interview:
“In the beginning, I worried too much and was very careful. Then you get to the place you wanted so much, and the situation becomes suffocating. Getting to not give a shit is the real liberation. Then you can try anything you want.”

While shooting The Lone Ranger, Johnny Depp fell off his horse after it got nervous. Johnny’s instinct was to lie down on the ground and not move, as people do when bears attack. The actor says that he survived because his horse only raised its legs to run over him and leave the place.
