The Kardashians and anything around them has become one of the main spectacles in the modern era. Naturally, their relationships and who are they seen with are one of the aspects people focus on the most and whenever there’s a Kardashian romance-related news, people know it’s just a preview of what we’re going to see on their reality series. Well, we don’t know if the new show will delve into that yet, but it’s very likely.
One of the most convulsive and tumultuous Kardashian relationships has definitely been that of Khloé Kardashian and the NBA player Tristan Thompson and the multiple cheating scandals around it. I mean, Khloé’s story with his former husband was no fairy tale either, but this was both extremely chaotic and heartbreaking.
Now, it’s been proven that Tristan cheated once again fathering a baby boy which has people wondered how has this convoluted relationship has developed. Worry, not, we have the full timeline.
August 2016: Partying together
It all started, at least to the public eye, when TMZ revealed some photos of the Kardashian sister and the NBA player getting out of a famous club in Hollywood. These sparked all sorts of dating rumors around the couple that wouldn’t take that much to be confirmed.
According to Khloé, they met through a friend who wanted the couple to start a relationship.
September 2016: Romantic trip to Los Cabos
Just a month later, media outlets reported that Khloé and Tristan had been seen vacationing in Mexico for Labor Day. That same month, they posed very close at Flo Rida’s party in Miami.
October 2016: Relationship confirmed
Still, they wouldn’t confirm their relationship until October, when they shared a photo of their Halloween costumes. They attended as Marvel heroes: Storm from the X-Men and Black Panther. That same month, Khloé’s best friend Malika confirmed the relationship, saying that Khloé was very happy with Tristan.
Around that time, she started to be seen in Cleveland where Thompson plays.
December 2016: Holidays together and first scandal
Once the relationship was confirmed it was all about Tristan and Khloé. The couple spent the holidays together sharing some cute photos with matching coats.
However, it was also around this time when the first scandal broke out when Tristan’s ex-girlfriend, Jordan Craig, gave birth to his son Prince Oliver. It was later reported that Khloé and Tristan started seeing each other when Jordan was already pregnant. When news about the Kardashian and Thomson dating went public Jordan broke up with Tristan.
April 2017: Family plans
Despite the backlash, the couple welcomed a new year and seemed very happy together. Khloé even revealed that they were already talking about starting their own family. Although they weren’t rushing into it… or so they said.
September 2017: Baby rumors
Just a couple of months after Khloé’s declarations, many outlets started reporting that Khloé was already expecting her first child with Thompson. She didn’t deny nor confirm the news back then.
October 2017: Tristan cheating
In October, the second scandal around the couple would break out when TMZ revealed they had a video of Thomson making out with two women at a hookah lounge in Washington. They would release the video some months later.
December 2017: Baby on the way
Finally, in December of that year, Khloé confirmed her pregnancy showing her belly surrounded by Tristan’s arms. According to her, she wanted to wait so she wouldn’t upstage her sister’s pregnancy, though she kept it a secret until the birth of her daughter Stormy in February.
April 2018: Multiple cheatings and welcoming True
Just a couple of days before giving birth, a video of Thompson kissing a woman on a rooftop in New York was released. Then a photograph of them getting into a hotel was published confirming that Tristan was cheating. TMZ also released the video with the other two women.
Amid the scandal, Khloé gave birth to True on April 12. Although her relationship with Thompson was on a rough patch, she decided to invite him to the delivery so that he would receive his daughter.
May 2018: Working things up?
One month after True’s birth, Khloé and Tristan were seen together having lunch in Cleveland. Khloé declared on her Twitter account that they were trying to rebuild their relationship for their daughter’s sake.
Later that summer, they were seen vacationing in Mexico together with Kendall Jenner.
December 2018: Khloé and True alone
Although it seemed that the couple was working things out, by December of that year, Khloé and True spent the Holidays alone with the Kardashian family. Although it was stated that Tristan couldn’t attend due to his NBA schedule, rumors about an impending breakup were in out.
February 2019: Breakup and the Tristan and Jordyn betrayal
By February several outlets reported it was official, although none of them declared anything on the matter. However, that same month the biggest scandal of their relationship broke out. TMZ reported that Tristan and Jordyn Woods, Kylie Jenner’s best friend, had hooked up at Tristan’s house after a party.
March 2019: Jordyn fights back
The next month, Jordyn appeared at Jada Pinkett Smith’s show to admit they had kissed but denied they had slept together. Khloé went on to Twitter to respond to Jordyn saying “You ARE the reason my family broke up!” She also added that Tristan had also admitted his fault and was working on that privately.
April 2019: True’s first birthday
Although the relationship was over, Khloé and Tristan gathered to cost True’s first birthday party. It was reported that they didn’t interact much during the party. Still, as it had happened at the delivery, Khloé agreed on allowing Tristan to share this moment because she didn’t want to deprive her daughter of creating memories with her father.
July 2020: Second chances
With the COVID outbreak, the couple kept quite silent about their relationship, although it was reported that they were trying to make it work one more time. Earlier in April, they had shared cute photos of True’s second birthday, which they celebrated as a family only the three of them.
April 2021: Wedding bells?
By April, Khloé shared a photo of her newly made nails, but people kept focusing on a luxurious diamond ring suggesting they had gotten engaged. They didn’t confirm nor deny anything, and it was likely it was just a stunt to trick their followers.
December 2021: Once a cheater…
So we reach the latest scandal. This past December, it was reported that Tristan had cheated again with a woman named Maralee Nichols. The information was taken from some court documents in which Nichols demanded Tristan for child support of her newborn baby. At first, Tristan denied the paternity, although he admitted they had slept together at his birthday party.
January 2021: Tristan admits his paternity and apologizes to Khloé
Just yesterday Tristan published two stories on Instagram sharing that the DNA test had confirmed his paternity and that he will be present in his son’s raising. He also apologized to Khloé saying she didn’t deserve the humiliation and heartache he’s caused her over the years.
