As third in the succession line, Prince George has had the eyes of the world over him since his birth in 2013. Like his father, Prince William’s firstborn had a lot on his back since the day he was conceived, and as such, he’s been educated to fulfill one of the most important roles in Britain, the one of King of the United Kingdom. However, despite the norms and protocols, Prince George has proven he’s also got a bit of rebelliousness in his soul, which he might have inherited from his grandma, the late Princess Diana.
He’s quite a dancer
A couple of years ago, Prince George sparked a huge conversation on social media after it was announced he was taking ballet lessons at his school. Despite the hate, his parents, William and Kate, spoke about how proud they were of their son and how talented he proved to be. William said: “George is doing dancing as well, he loves it […]. And my mother always used to dance, she loved dancing. And if it’s something you love, you do what you love. Don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise.” Princess Diana was seen at several public events dancing, and she even took private lessons.
He loves the spotlight
Although his sister Charlotte is often seen as the sassy one and the one who loves stealing the spotlight, Prince George is also quite keen on shining in front of the cameras. It’s well known that Princess Di had a special aura that just dragged everybody’s attention, and it seems it’s something her grandchildren inherited from her. Besides loving being photographed, George also enjoys acting a lot. According to his parents, he’s pretty good at it, and he’s some sort of a comedian himself!

He loves volunteering
Princess Diana is by far the most humanitarian royal there has ever been in the British Royal Family. Her charitable work was something her sons William and Harry took over after her passing, and it seems that William is also educating his children to follow her steps. Prince George is one of the most avid volunteers in their little family, even at a young age. One time, during Britain’s Volunteers Week, it was declared that the kids didn’t mind the rain and were very much into the charity work they were doing.
He’s an adventurer
Princess Diana always presented herself as an outdoorsy woman, a “country girl at heart.” Like her, George is also quite an adventurer. He loves spending some time outside and adores nature and animals. His love for animals of all sorts, being spiders one of his favorites, is so well known that there’s a marsupial at an Australian zoo named after him!
