Many world leaders have spoken out against the attacks that Russia has been doing o Ukrainian territory, and to the list, you can now add Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The Dukes of Sussex, through their Archewell foundation, released a statement to “stand with the people of Ukraine” after the European country has been attacked by the Russian military.
The Dukes called the Russian actions “a breach of international and humanitarian law” and added that they encourage “the global community and its leaders to do the same”.
This is the first time that Prince Harry and Meghan take a stand on such an international event.
Weeks before the U.S. elections back in November 2020, Meghan called for an informed vote, and Harry, because of its royal background, had stayed away from talking about political or international issues.
Both Harry and Meghan are known to encourage a safe environment and a global and cooperative environment. In more recent times, they both advocated for universal access to a covid-19 vaccine, focusing on poorer countries.
Stand with the people of Ukraine against this breach of international and humanitarian law and encourage the global community and its leaders to do the same.
