Real-time coverage of rare total solar eclipse across north america

We’re witnessing the total solar eclipse, and we’re super excited because it’s a very rare phenomenon to see. Just moments ago was the peak of the eclipse in Mazatlán, Mexico, where the entirety of the astral phenomenon reached 100%, and almost complete darkness could be observed. It was reported in Mexican media that many birds sought refuge in their nests as if it were night, and four minutes after the totality ended, they could be heard singing again. This phenomenon was incredible, and it will be at least 28 years before we can appreciate something like this again.

In the United States, according to NASA: “Outside the path of totality, people across the contiguous United States will have a chance to see a partial solar eclipse.”

This eclipse is being observed by at least 31 million people across North America, including Mexico and Canada.

First Images of the Eclipse

The first glimpse of the eclipse and its total darkness was seen in Mazatlán, Mexico, and now it’s progressing towards the United States, especially Texas, which is about to witness this great and historic moment. It will end in Maine at 3:35 p.m. EDT. The duration of the totality of the eclipse will be 4 minutes and 20 seconds.
