A few days before the release of the new Black Widow movie where Scarlet Johansson will play the heroine, it was revealed that the actress is pregnant.
The actress’s pregnancy was confirmed by close sources, who revealed to Page Six that the star of the latest Marvel movie is expecting her first child with comedian Colin Jost.
Suspicions began in early June when the star avoided at all costs to attend events to promote Black Widow, which premieres on July 8 on Disney+ and in theaters.
“Scarlett’s baby is coming soon, I know she and Colin are thrilled,” “She’s pregnant, but she’s kept it very quiet. She has kept a very low profile,” indicated the sources close to the couple.
One of the people who confirmed the pregnancy revealed that it was odd that Scarlett did not show up at Black Widow promotional events, “It’s a big Marvel/Disney release, and she’s both the star and the executive producer.”
Notably, Johansson did not attend the screening of Black Widow in the Hamptons last Friday, nor did she attend the premiere at Mariska Hargitay’s home, even though Scarlett and her husband own a home in Montauk.
“Scarlett usually spends a lot of the summer out in Amagansett and Montauk, and you’d often see her walking her dogs on the beach or getting coffee. But this summer it seems like she is deliberately trying to keep a low profile.”
