There’s no doubt that the Jonas Brothers hit our lives back like a storm in all ways. Not only are they succeeding in music again (they just had an amazing reunion at the Billboard Music Awards), they’re also doing it in their not so private lives proving they’re no longer the pure and saint boys who wore purity rings at the early stages of their careers. All married now, Joe Jonas is the last one to be married in a formal ceremony and it finally happened.
Just last year, Nick and supermodel Priyanka Chopra got married in not one, but two lavish weddings that surprised the world. So, how can you match that? Well, by doing something completely different but just as surprising. Now, Joe is the one under the spotlight as the last brother to tie the knot, and sure he didn’t feel like going for something dull like a traditional wedding with Game of Thrones star and fiancée Sophie Turner.
The couple was already in Vegas last month for the Billboards, so they had just one thing else to do after the show: getting married in classic Vegas style. It was an Elvis impersonator the one who officiated the ceremony and all the important moments were transmitted live by no other than the famous DJ Diplo, who didn’t only gave us a glimpse of their love promises, but also showed us all the A-listers who accompanied the couple at this important moment.
Though the idea of a wedding in Vegas has been related to a night of drunkenness and bad decisions, for the young couple it was nothing more than just a funny way to show their bubbly personalities. Instead of exchanging wedding rings, for instance, the couple went for candy ring pops to make it even more kitsch and hilarious (though the wedding is totally legal).
The couple had a formal star-studded religious wedding this weekend in France. Not so long ago, Turner revealed in an interview at The Graham Norton Show, that their wedding would be in France during the summer, and so they did. Though they didn’t reveal much at the moment, photos have already appeared everywhere beyond the ones the couple has shared so far.
