Barbie has left her DreamHouse and the current tenant, Ken, wants to welcome you to his iconic playset come to life. That’s right, Ken is hosting a unique stay for four lucky guests who will be able to experience the majestic pink world of the Barbie universe on the also iconic Malibu beach.
Ken has brought all of his colorful ‘Kenergy’ to the DreamHouse to celebrate the premiere of the upcoming film Barbie directed by Greta Gerwig. As the listing reveals, the DreamHouse is “placed perfectly above the beach with panoramic views, this life-size toy pink mansion is a dream come true!”

Airbnb DreamHouse Amenities Guests Can Enjoy
You can’t experience the Barbie and Ken lifestyle without some unique outfits! And Airbnb has taken that into account giving the lucky guests an “awesome wardrobe to find your best beach fit.” This also gives you access to iconic Barbie outfits. Oh, did we mention that this includes the fantastic set of pink and yellow roller skates we see in the movie trailer? Yep, it does, as well as a cool surfboard for you to experience the full Surf fantasy.
The idea is that guests experience from the very first time the fantasy of Barbie Land at its best; so, upon arrival, you would be welcomed by a concierge to give you a thorough tour of the property and arrange your meals. Don’t worry, these will be real meals and not plastic ones!
Ken’s DreamHouse features a lovely infinity pool with a view of Malibu Beach, as well as an outdoor dance floor like in the movie. Our sporty guests can also enjoy a fully equipped workout area with cute pink accessories, so remember to bring your most Barbiecore sportswear!

How to Book and How Much Will It Cost?
Airbnb will open bookings on July 17 at 10:00 am PT. It will be offered for two different one-night stays for two people each, one on July 21 and the other on July 22. Now, you might be thinking this is going to be a hell of an expensive experience but you’ll be surprised to know that it will actually cost $0 to live that childhood fantasy. Yes, you read it right, Airbnb won’t charge a dime for these for guests.
Now, let’s clarify one thing, as stated on the listing, this is “not a contest” and the chosen guests will actually be “responsible for their own travel to and from Malibu.” Given that there are just a few days between the listing opening and the actual stay, it’s more likely that US citizens will have more chances to win this great experience.
Also, let’s note that beyond being a marketing effort of the movie, Airbnb wants to make use of the spotlight for a good cause. To honor the film and the empowering essence of Barbie for young audiences, the company has also announced that it will be donating to Save the Children.
