The Popocatépetl volcano has become an important spot for sightings of what appear to be UFOs for years. However, until now, no one has been able to explain the mysterious phenomenon—no one except Jaime Maussan.
Although it may seem far-fetched, the investigator not only claimed that the volcano’s crater could be a type of extraterrestrial portal, but he also revealed a video showing what appears to be an unidentified object entering Popocatépetl.
Through his social media, the famous Mexican ufologist shared a surprising video that quickly went viral, as it could be the definitive proof confirming his theory.
Is Popocatépetl an extraterrestrial portal?
Maussan posted an old video on his X account, formerly Twitter, recorded on May 30, 2013, by Televisa (one of Mexico’s biggest telecommunications and broadcasting companies). In the video, a UFO can be seen appearing to enter the Popocatépetl volcano.

But that wasn’t the only video the investigator shared. In addition to posting some other similar video fragments, he backed his theory by claiming that scientists from Harvard University and Montana Technological University suggest that the volcano could be a type of extraterrestrial portal.
Maussan explained that the study conducted by the researchers concluded that the volcano’s crater could be an entry or connection to other dimensions or realities that are frequently traversed by spacecraft.
“We have been following the activity of the volcano for the last 30 years and have noticed how, on countless occasions, objects enter and exit the volcano’s crater,” he commented.

Jaime Maussan also detailed that the first evidence of this unusual activity was taken in 2001 and the most spectacular in 2013, which led his research team to install several cameras in the area, which have also managed to capture the entrance of the spacecraft.
Additionally, he mentioned that while it was initially believed that the volcano was an extraterrestrial base or that these beings were there to try to control the volcano’s activity, today they are almost certain that Popocatépetl’s magnetism is so strong that UFOs manipulate it to open magnetic portals.
