The Florida alligator that killed a homeless woman last year was shot and dissected by officials, and now we’re seeing the aftermath on tape.
TMZ obtained new photos and videos from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission showing what happened after they discovered the alligator had killed and eaten Sabrina Peckham, who was living near a canal in Largo.
The body cam footage captures the moments right after the gator was shot and killed. Wildlife officials are seen pulling the animal from the water and loading it onto a truck bed. Later, they cut it open to retrieve Peckham’s remains from inside its stomach.

While we haven’t included any images of Peckham’s remains, there is a photo of the dissected gator. Be warned and proceed with caution.

TMZ also reviewed the full report, and other photos reveal her arm and other limbs recovered from inside the gator. It seems the reptile consumed most of her torso when it attacked her.
It’s unclear how Peckham ended up in the gator’s jaws, but locals alerted authorities in September when they saw what looked like a human body in its mouth. You can see Peckham’s campsite, which appears completely trashed.

Peckham’s daughter has since spoken out, stating her mother did not provoke the gator and was likely attacked in the dark while returning to her camp.
