Jada Pinkett Smith talked again about her relationship with Will Smith. She believes it will affect their children’s romances in the future. She hopes her daughter can experience a romantic journey like theirs, with all its ups and downs.
In an interview on the ‘Pretty Smart’ podcast with Danielle Robay, she discussed details of her marriage, challenges, and her daughter, Willow. She explained that she would like Willow to have a relationship similar to the one she maintains with Will Smith, despite the ups and downs they have experienced as a couple.
The actress has made it clear that their relationship is not the fairy tale she expected. She has indicated that she is grateful to have the Oscar winner as her life partner. “To know that I have someone by my side that no matter what, is dedicated to learning how to love and learning how to love me, and vice versa, I don’t know what else you could ask for.”
“No matter how much Will and I have tried to get away from each other, it’s not happening,” she said regarding the controversy surrounding her relationship with the actor. The couple secretly separated in 2016, as Jada explained last year.
Regarding why Jada wants a relationship like the one she has with Will, she said: “If it’s gonna help her become the woman I am becoming.”
The actress also had words of praise for her daughter, who has recently excelled in music.
“She was just so enamored with her mother performing. And she just loved it so much and then just to see her, I mean, she just took it to the next level.”
“Your children, who journeyed with you in a certain way, and then they take that journey and just fly with it. In my opinion, she is just an exceptional artist,” she said.
