El mundo de la música es vasto y amplio, uno nunca terminaría de conocerla. En especial si hablamos de rock, un género que vive en un mundo propio donde se desarrollan diversos ecosistemas: punk, metal, clásico, psicodélico, rock en español, progresivo, goth rock y un largo, muy largo etcétera. Conocer todos los discos de rock es una tarea sencillamente imposible, pero sé que probablemente quieras poner a prueba tus conocimientos o bien compartirle la música a alguien que va empezando. O incluso, tal vez llegaste a este artículo si este enorme género musical llama tu atención como a miles de millones en el mundo y no sabes por dónde empezar. No te preocupes, te prometo que te vas a enamorar, no importa por dónde entres al rock.
Pues la música no solo nos da identidad y pertenencia, nos hace sentir felices; incluso comprendidos. Es por eso que Cultura Colectiva compiló este listado de 100 álbumes que probablemente no sean los mejores, ni los más importantes… pero definitivamente han hecho historia en la música a tal grado que por alguna razón, tienes que haberlos escuchado al menos una sola vez en la vida. Por otro lado, como probablemente te vas a enojar si no encuentras tu favorito en primer lugar, no te angusties… siempre puedes recomendar los discos que a ti te hacen feliz. Compartamos la música que tanto amamos, porque el rock y todas sus vertientes tienen que seguir sonando fuerte a lo largo y ancho del mundo.
Por cierto, 100 discos en realidad son muy pocos para cubrir todo el terreno pero trataré de abarcar tanto como pueda, porque te garantizo: probablemente ya escuchaste alguna canción de la gran mayoría.
