Photographs are always memories; good or bad, they preserve a story and are a way of remembering those who are gone. 1. Tupac Shakur
Tupac died on September 13, 1996, at the age of 25, as a result of a crime committed on September 7 of the same year in Las Vegas, Nevada. The rapper was shot and was shot four times, two in the chest and one in the thigh.
2. Chester Bennington
The last photograph of the Linkin Park vocalist was taken four days before he was found lifeless in his own apartment. Chester hanged himself at the age of 41 on July 20, 2017, in California, United States, after facing a terrible depression due to his addictions.

The last photo of the U.S. president was taken moments before his assassination at the age of 46, on November 22, 1963.
7. Bob Marley
At the last captured moment, the reggae singer weighed only 35 kilos because of skin cancer, called melanoma; Bob Marley died at the age of 36, on May 11, 1981, at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, Florida, United States.
8. Carrie Fisher
This photograph was taken by a fan in London, one day before the actress boarded the plane on which she suffered a heart attack that would take her life four days later, on December 27, 2016, at the age of 60.
9. Marilyn Monroe
Marilyn Monroe was photographed for the last time with jazz pianist Buddy Greco, days before she lost her life to an overdose of barbiturates on August 4, 1962, at the age of 36.
10. Robin Williams
Robin Williams suffered from Lewy body dementia, a disease that led him to take his own life at the age of 63. Two weeks before this event, he shared this photo on his Instagram account to congratulate his daughter on her birthday.
11. Elvis Presley
The last photograph of Elvis Presley was taken on August 16, 1977, when the musician was returning home after going to the dentist. That same night he suffered a cardiac arrest that took his life.
12. Michael Jackson
Michael Jackson died at the age of 50 on June 25, 2009, from propofol and benzodiazepine intoxication. His last photograph was taken during the rehearsals of his last concerts, a couple of days before his departure.
13. Lenin
Lenin’s last public photograph was with his sister and the doctor, who was treating him for paranoia. In this picture, he had already lost his speech.
14. Paul Walker
Paul Walker was last photographed leaving a charity event, moments later his Porsche would crash into a concrete lamppost, causing his death at the age of 40.
15. Jimi Hendrix
27-year-old Jimi Hendrix died one day after this photograph was taken. He died in bed choking on his own vomit after ingesting nine sleeping pills.
16. Jim Morrison
This photograph was taken the same day of his death after he lost his life in the bathroom of his apartment after suffering a heart attack from a heroin overdose at the age of 27.
17. John Lennon
The man who shot John Lennon, Mark David Chapman, is shown on the right of the photograph while asking for his autograph. This image was taken four hours before he was killed.
18. David Bowie
David Bowie battled lung cancer for a year and a half; the singer died three days after this photograph at the age of 69.
19. Freddie Mercury
Freddie Mercury died at the age of 45 from pneumonia caused by AIDS, although the singer denied being positive until the day before his departure.
20. Amy Winehouse
The singer was found dead in her apartment a week after this photograph was taken. Amy had a blood alcohol level five times the maximum concentration for life.
21. Kurt Cobain
Jesse Frohman took this series of photographs of Kurt Cobain shortly before his suicide. The singer died at the age of 27 on April 5, 1994.
22. Heath Ledger
The actor died of acute intoxication from combining painkillers, shortly before he was photographed while working on the film The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.
