After years of controversy and rumors, Britney Spears is finally addressing some dark and private aspects of her relationship with Justin Timberlake. In just a couple of days, Britney is finally releasing her bombshell memoir The Woman in Me, and a few details have already come out to the public.
We all knew Britney Spears was going to reveal dark secrets of her life since it’s pretty much the first time she’s been able to speak freely, but the book hasn’t come out yet and the revelations are shocking already! Like the news that she had an abortion to please Justin Timberlake, who didn’t want to be a father!

Justin and Britney dated from 1999 to 2002 and were THE couple of the moment in the music world. However, their relationship ended abruptly and was filled with rumors of infidelity, and although we were all expected to learn about said rumors, Britney’s confession was way more shocking than expected.
According to her memoir, the young couple found out they were pregnant but they wanted different things in life. As she writes, it was “a surprise, but for me, it wasn’t a tragedy.” Britney adds that she was madly in love with Justin and wished to have a family with him. “This would be much earlier than I’d anticipated,” Spears wrote.
Sadly, Justin wasn’t ready to live the happy family story Britney was anticipating: “he said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.” The Princess of Pop claims in her book that she was willing to have her baby had she been left to make the decision. But she agreed to have the abortion to please Timberlake; “If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father.”
Besides the pain of not being on the same path as a couple and having to agree to say goodbye to a child she wanted so badly, she adds that the experience of the abortion itself was “to this day, one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life.” And we all know her life hasn’t been a bed of roses.
Britney Spears is now a mother of two, Sean Preston and Jayden James. She welcomed her boys with her second husband Kevin Federline. However, only last year, Britney had to experience the loss of another baby; she was expecting a baby with her now ex-husband Sam Asghari, but sadly she had a miscarriage.
As to her first baby, Justin Timberlake hasn’t responded to the accusation yet, although a close source to the singer and actor revealed yesterday that he was “concerned” about what Britney would reveal from their relationship in her memoir. It seems that we know now why! Or is there something else to know about these two?!
Britney Spears’ The Woman in Me, will be released this October 24.
