A member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, Caitlyn dedicated some words to the late OJ.
Caitlyn shared on her X account, formerly Twitter, a few words for her friend of over 30 years. The tweet sparked controversy, reminding us all of the disdain the Kardashian-Jenner clan always had towards the former player.

When OJ Simpson was on trial for the murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman, one of his legal representatives was the father of celebrities Khloe, Kim, and Kourtney, Robert Kardashian, who died in 2003 after battling esophageal cancer. The Kardashian family always harbored some resentment towards Simpson because they claimed the case was causing too much stress for Robert, who already had health issues. It’s worth mentioning that Robert allegedly believed OJ was guilty, which was why he didn’t want to testify in court.
Later on, Robert Kardashian stated in an interview with Barbara Walters that he couldn’t overlook how damning the blood evidence was throughout the case, making it clear to many that Robert didn’t believe his friend OJ was innocent.
The Relationship Between Caitlyn Jenner and OJ Simpson
Caitlyn and OJ were friends long before Caitlyn underwent her transition. They met after Robert Kardashian took on the Simpson case, and as we all know, Robert was married to Kris, who later married Bruce (Caitlyn). If there were doubts about what Robert thought about OJ and his involvement in the trial, Caitlyn Jenner confirms in her memoir, The Secrets of My Life, that Robert suggested he believed the running back committed the crimes.
“‘I would’ve been OK with it if they had gotten him in the first trial,'” Jenner claimed Kardashian told her. “The implication was obvious that he believed OJ was guilty. ‘I believe [Simpson] got away with two savage murders.’

After the murder trial, Caitlyn and Simpson ended their relationship. During Australia’s Big Brother, Caitlyn also mentioned that OJ threatened Nicole with killing her, and said he would get away with it because he was “OJ Simpson.”

OJ Simpson’s Life
OJ Simpson was known for his involvement as a running back for the Buffalo Bills and later for the San Francisco 49ers. He also participated in films such as The Naked Gun and The Cassandra Crossing. Unfortunately, his football skills were not the only thing that made him famous.
In 1994, the former player was brought to trial for the double murder of his then-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman, who were found stabbed to death outside of her condo on June 12, 1994. Five days after the murder, it was revealed that the police were chasing him along with his alleged accomplice, Al Cowlings, as they attempted to escape in a white Ford Bronco. Robert Kardashian managed to get OJ acquitted because the evidence of a glove with the victims’ blood did not match. Despite being acquitted in the criminal trial, OJ Simpson was found liable for the death of his wife Nicole in a civil trial.
