Life’s coincidences are very curious, and the proof of this is Gerard Piqué, who is trending (again) on social networks after users retweeted an old tweet from the athlete about Lewis Hamilton. Why is this relevant?
Well, rumor has it that Lewis Hamilton is Shakira’s new beau. And it seems that Piqué made it very clear that Hamilton has never been to his liking. Although, of course, no one cares about that when it comes to Shak being happy.
Piqué’s Old Tweet About Lewis Hamilton Has Resurfaced
It was fans of the Colombian singer who dusted off a tweet from Piqué about Lewis Hamilton. This one was published in September 2012, when the footballer took the opportunity to dedicate some not-very-kind words to the Formula 1 driver. “HAMILTON OUT! Alonso is flying now!” read the post.
At the time, the tweet was pretty irrelevant, but now that there are possibilities that Shakira is taking a chance on Hamilton, it has broken the internet. Users have reacted to it, and many others have retweeted it with comments supporting the celebrity couple.
Are Shakira and Lewis Hamilton Together?
So far, neither of the two celebrities has clarified the rumors; however, many fans point out that they could be giving each other a chance in love. These suspicions arose after the driver and the singer were spotted together on several occasions, most recently in Barcelona during the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix.
After the big event, Hamilton and Shakira went out to dinner with friends, and a photo of the moment fueled the suspicions, as it is clearly seen how the driver has taken the Colombian by the waist quite familiarly.
Could it be that Piqué’s tweet was referring to Hamilton’s interest in Shakira, was it a spoiler alert of their future, or a simple coincidence?
