Once again, we’re confronted with harassment in the film industry, this time courtesy of a photographer who made a tasteless remark to Hannah Waddingham, actress from ‘Ted Lasso,‘ during the red carpet at the Olivier Awards.
It seems that some people haven’t left the Stone Age behind and continue to behave in a primitive manner. Actresses like Hannah Waddingham, and all women around the world, face harassment in various aspects of our lives every day. Unfortunately, this time, the ‘Ted Lasso’ actress had to endure an extremely uncomfortable moment on the red carpet at the Olivier Awards when a reporter shouted at her to turn to the cameras.
“Show me your leg,” the reporter shouted.
“Oh my God, you’d never say that to a man, my friend,” she shouted in response to the request.
Hannah continued on her way to the Royal Albert Hall but not before turning back to the photographer and leaving him with another warning:
“Don’t be a d—k, otherwise I’ll move off. Don’t say ‘show me leg.’ No.”
There’s no doubt that that man was a complete jerk, and it’s a shame that women still have to go through this.
