The source of these images is unknown (how cowardly) but it is a clear violation of Taylor Swift’s rights and privacy, although they are generated with AI, it is an action in very bad taste and, in the opinion of this author, should be Jail question.
Of course, in this article, we will not show the previously mentioned images because they are degrading and a violation of the dignity of the singer, and any person who has been involved in a similar situation. The behavior of the person who believed he had the right to attack a person’s image is unacceptable.
The Reaction of Taylor Swift’s Fans to Such an Abomination
The Swifties did not hesitate to support their idol, as they usually do unconditionally, and quickly spread the strategy to combat the criminal who shared the photos. A kind of campaign was carried out among Taylor’s fans where each one searched for the aforementioned hashtag and then entered the Media section and reported every one of the explicit photographs. Taylor’s fans were a great support for her after being a victim of this horrible trend. It is worth mentioning that support was required from adult Swifties since the content was very sensitive for young girls.
The Risks of AI
Although Artificial Intelligence represents an enormous technological advance, and in many cases a positive tool for life, it is a double-edged sword. The misuse of this technology and many others also represents a risk for the community and individuals, it must be taken with great responsibility and never against others.
Several celebrities have been victims of hackers and bots that attack their dignity and share intimate photographs of them, it is an act of cowardice. There are even public figures who have reached greater scales where they falsify their voices and create intimate videos to damage their reputation.
The hope that this author has is that the legal system around the world realizes what is happening and creates laws that defend citizens from these attacks. Just as an informative fact, in Mexico, there is a law called Olympia, which precisely protects people from this type of attack and already has repressions for those who share intimate photographs of third parties.
