Justin Timberlake made it to the tabloids in a very rough moment after being arrested for driving while intoxicated or under the influence of alcohol.
According to media reports, the singer was later released after remaining in police custody for a few hours.
Timberlake denied being drunk and alleged he only had one martini, telling the police officer: “I had one martini and I followed my friends home.”
Now, according to People Magazine, a bartender at the New York hotel where the singer drank before his arrest confirmed that he had one drink and then left.
“If he was drinking more, it wasn’t here,” the source told People.
The officer said in the report that he failed to complete the sobriety test by “performing poorly”, and in addition, he was allegedly visibly intoxicated, stating his “eyes were bloodshot and glassy” and had a “strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from his breath.”

Sources with direct knowledge of the matter initially stated that it was simply a traffic violation, however, local police informed TMZ that an arrest is not made for a minor violation.
Fans have begun to share their concern because the singer has several concerts scheduled throughout the United States in the coming days for “The Forget Tomorrow World Tour” in support of his sixth studio album, “Everything I Thought It Was”, but has to be back in court July 26.

A trusted source claimed that Justin Timberlake has “a serious drinking problem” that, although he has tried to hide, in recent years has ended up becoming much more evident in his close circle.
“He has a real drinking problem, a lot of weed — but a major alcohol problem” the insider said.
His recent arrest indicates that even though Justin stopped drinking to adopt a healthier lifestyle, his old demons may have returned.
Some of her fans think that this relapse may be related to the controversy that broke out last year with the revelations that Britney Spears made about their relationship, in which the pop princess claimed that Justin forced her to have an abortion.
