Rapper Kanye West continues to be at the center of controversy. While a few days ago, he was seen dressed in a costume resembling that of the white supremacist Ku Klux Klan group, he now finds himself in the middle of controversy for an inflammatory speech he gave in Las Vegas, with anti-Semitic overtones and attacks against his former partner, Donald Trump.
The latest controversy is said to be a new mental health episode, which has affected the producer in public in the past. According to TMZ, the rapper was in the middle of a crowd at an unidentified location in Las Vegas when, out of his mind, he began an extended 10-minute speech in which he mentioned such antagonistic figures as Jesus Christ and Hitler, even himself: “Jesus Christ, Hitler, Ye!’ Third Party, Sponsor That”
He also launched anti-Semitic attacks, claiming that Zionist Jews own all the banks, hospitals, and even public schools in Los Angeles.
“F*** Balenciaga, Gap, and Louis Vuitton,” the businessman and designer said during his speech, which was broadcast on social media. He also lashed out at his former business partner, former president Donald Trump, who he said would not support his candidacy if he did not release Larry Hoover, a former US mobster and kingpin.
Ye also had words for North, the daughter he had with socialite and model, Kim Kardashian. “My daughter had to rip up the f***ing couches at home to be with me right now,” he said. In his speeches, the rapper claimed that no one defended him, but one of the attendees assured him that he was “not God,” and threatened to throw her out of the room.
A Week of Controversy
Kanye West has been the talk of the tabloids this week (as usual). During a presentation of his new album at an Art Basel event, the singer dressed as a member of the Ku Klux Klan and was spotted with his wife Bianca Censori at a Miami exhibition in a see-through dress that left nothing to the imagination.
