Although the Kardashians have indeed lost their mojo when it comes to relevance in the entertainment world, there are still many fans who are following the family’s steps closely. One great example is what happened a few days after Kourtney Kardashian, the eldest of the clan, shared a photo showing off her big baby bump.
Kourtney Kardashian showed a series of photos in a tiny bright red bikini with a caption that reads: “Growing you inside of me, my son, is the greatest blessing, honor, and joy.” Cute, isn’t it? Well, for fans or haters of the Kardashians, these words aren’t as nice as they sound as they’re certain this was a blow at her sisters. Why?
As we all know, both Kim and Khloé have resorted to surrogacy to welcome some of their kids. In Kim’s case her two youngest children, Chicago and Psalm, were born through this method. Khloé welcomed her youngest boy Tatum the same way a year ago. Although controversial, both sisters had their reasons to resort to surrogacy.
Both have also shared their experiences on their reality show. Kim Kardashian’s first pregnancies with (North and Saint) were difficult and risky, actually putting her life at risk after developing pre-eclampsia in both cases. As for Khloé, we all got to see her difficult experience in the last season of The Kardashians. She wanted to give True a sibling, but after the constant cheating of her partner Tristan Thompson, she decided to find a surrogate. Days before the birth of their son, news of Tristan having another baby emerged.
Now, all four of Kourtney’s kids, including this baby that is about to be born were conceived naturally, the first three with former partner Scott Disick, and this last one with her husband Travis Barker. We also got to see the couple struggling to conceive on the show, so when the news broke out, fans were ecstatic for the family. But why would Kourtney throw shade at her sisters, who have been open about their struggles?
It’s well known that the relationship of Kourtney with Kim hasn’t been rocky in the past years, with problems even escalating to a physical level. Last season, the sisters were involved in yet another fight over Kim Kardashian’s collab with Dolce & Gabanna. But would Kourtney be as petty as to involve her other sister Khloé in this dispute? Most likely, people are reading way too far between the lines.
This isn’t the only thing people got from Kourtney’s post. Some fans were also outraged, claiming that Kourtney has never had this kind of details with her other three children, Mason, Penelope, and Reign. They claim that she’s showing way much more excitement toward her baby with Travis than she ever did with her other kids. I mean, come on!
While it’s true that these people have made their lives public with their shows, we can’t forget that at the end of the day, they show what they want on social media, and the reality is that behind closed doors, there are many things we don’t know. Assuming a post on Instagram has all these shady meanings is naive. After years, we should know better!
