Before his death, Perry had been receiving ketamine infusion therapy for anxiety and depression, however, the last therapy occurred a week and a half before the terrible event, so the drug found in his system was not prescribed by a doctor.
Police sources confirmed that the ketamine ingested by Matthew Perry was not legally prescribed.

The DEA, the United States Postal Service and the LAPD are some of the federal agencies that have carried out a criminal investigation for months because a drug trafficking network could be revealed from Matthew Perry’s ketamine death.

TMZ reported that at least one doctor and several drug dealers have been arrested in connection with Matthew Perry’s ketamine death, as it’s well known that it takes more than one person for this job.
Other information that was also revealed was that the search warrant revealed some text messages that discussed Perry and the ketamine he was looking to buy.
These messages also discuss the price Matthew would pay for the drug.
Authorities have not stopped the investigation since October 2023, which was the day that renowned actor Matthew Perry died, as they have also found other celebrities who could be involved in Matthew Perry’s ketamine death, as reported.
Authorities have worked day and night to find as many people responsible as possible and have shown that these cases are the priority when it comes to uncovering drug trafficking in the United States.
An Actress Linked in Matthew Perry’s Death
According to People magazine, one of the most relevant lines of investigation for the authorities considers that more than one celebrity could be related to Matthew Perry’s ketamine death, which would mean the discovery of a drug trafficking network within Hollywood… this is a theory that of course doesn’t sound so far-fetched.
Page Six revealed a few weeks ago that authorities would be looking at an actress who had shared the screen with Perry in the past due to the discovery of a photograph of the famous woman and the actor together in the office of a doctor known for prescribing ketamine.
