This time, in an interview with streamer Gerard Romero, the soccer player talked about his ex and emphasized the origin of the Colombian singer in a rather derogatory manner, if you ask us.
“I can give you an example, with the issue I went through last year, well, my ex-partner is Latin American… I mean, do you know what I’ve received on social media from people who are fans of hers? But thousands of barbarities. I don’t care, I don’t know them, they are people who have no life and you will never meet them,” the soccer player said.
Of course, Shakira did not remain silent and, as always, responded in an elegant manner, hitting back right where it hurts.
“Proud to be Latin American,” and accompanied her text with the flags of the countries that make up the Latin pride.
This message appeared after Piqué’s and also shortly after the Colombian singer announced that, officially, she was moving permanently to Miami, ready to continue her new life away from the man who has hurt her so much.
Obviously, this exchange of comments was not insignificant for fans, especially those of the Colombian singer, who reacted with annoyance to the soccer player’s snub, but also felt safe when the singer defended not only herself, but an entire community.
It seems that the war between these two will not end soon, however, tension may decrease now that the former couple is keeping a great distance.
