In a video shared on her Instagram account, the Immaculate actress displayed screenshots of hateful and body-shaming comments she received.
Instead of responding with words, Sweeney chose to showcase her physical transformation. The video concluded with clips of her intense training for her upcoming role as professional boxer Christy Martin, explaining the increase in her muscle mass.
Sweeney’s video also included footage of her rigorous gym sessions, where she is seen flexing her muscles and demonstrating the results of her hard work.

Following the post, her comments section was flooded with supportive messages from celebrities, many of whom have also faced body-shaming. “You’re a badass. This movie is going to be [fire emoji],” wrote Glen Powell. Rachel Brosnahan and Quinta Brunson echoed their support with fire emojis.
