Meanwhile… Alec’s Trial Is Coming
The news comes as Alec Baldwin is gearing up for a July trial over his manslaughter charge linked to the tragic death of “Rust” cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

If convicted of involuntary manslaughter, Baldwin could face up to 18 months in prison. The charges stem from allegations that he negligently pointed a gun at Hutchins and pulled the trigger during a scene rehearsal. Additionally, as a producer, he has been criticized for poor safety protocols on set.
Baldwin’s legal team tried to get the charges dismissed, but Judge Mary Marlowe Sommer denied their motions.

Back in April, Hannah Gutierrez Reed, the 26-year-old armorer who loaded the live round into Baldwin’s gun, received an 18-month prison sentence, which is the maximum penalty for her role in the incident.

The Baldwins reality series will be airing on TLC next year, however, he could still face the 18 months in prison if he’s found guilty of his charges.
