After one of the nastiest comments, Puerto Rican superstars Bad Bunny, Ricky Martin, and Jennifer Lopez have publicly endorsed Kamala Harris for president.
This wave of support comes in the wake of a controversial Trump rally at Madison Square Garden, where comedian Tony Hinchcliffe made racist remarks about Puerto Rico, referring to it as a “floating island of garbage“.

Jennifer Lopez, who has long been vocal about her political views, shared several slides from Harris’ campaign on her Instagram story, emphasizing Harris’ commitment to supporting Puerto Rico economically.

Ricky Martin echoed this sentiment, sharing the same post and a video of Hinchcliffe’s offensive comments, captioning it with, “This is what they think of us”.

Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny, who is also one of the most popular and influential artists of recent years, also threw his support behind Kamala Harris.
He shared a video of Harris speaking about her plans for Puerto Rico, criticizing Trump’s handling of the island during his presidency, not once but four times on his Instagram Stories.

“I will never forget what Donald Trump did and what he did not do when Puerto Rico needed a caring and competent leader,” Kamala Harris stated in the video.
These posts supporting Kamala are in some way really powerful coming from these influential figures who have millions and millions of followers and the elections are just around the corner.
Tim Walz also condemned comedian Tony Hinchcliffe racist comments, and the comedian’s response to it was also rude and very controversial.
“These people have no sense of humor. Wild that a vice presidential candidate would take time out of his ‘busy schedule’ to analyze a joke taken out of context to make it seem racist. I love Puerto Rico and vacation there. I made fun of everyone… watch the whole set. I’m a comedian Tim… might be time to change your tampon,” he stated.
