The star of “Poor Things” was crowned Best Actress yesterday for her role in this film by Yorgos Lanthimos.
Emma Stone took the stage to receive her second statuette in her career and delivered a speech that just remembering gives us goosebumps.
The famous actress thanked the other nominees for their dedicated effort to their work because at the end of the day, even if they don’t appear in the same movie, they form a great team.
“It’s about a team that came together to make something greater than the sum of its parts. And that is the best part about making movies, is all of us together. And I am so deeply honored to share this with every cast member, with every crew member, with every single person who poured their love and their care and their brilliance into the making of this film. […] And Yorgos, thank you for the gift of a lifetime in Bella Baxter. I am forever thankful for you. Thank you for inviting all of us to be members of this team. Thank you,” said the actress with tears of emotion on her face.

“My dress is broken and I think it happened during ‘I’m Just Ken,” she said amidst laughter, as everyone followed along with this gesture.
Undoubtedly, Emma Stone will remember this night for the rest of her life, as in addition to winning her second Oscar, she’ll have a great anecdote to tell.
