Horror movies coming in the second half of the year

The Watchers-June 6
Directed by Ishama Night Shyamalan, daughter of controversial director M. Night Shyamalan, this film follows Mina, a 28-year-old woman who is lost in a dark forest in Ireland, however, on her way she finds refuge. What begins as an ordinary story, will soon be transformed into a dangerous plot where she and other strangers will be stalked by dangerous creatures who want to end their lives.
The Strangers Trilogy – June 13
This franchise was a hit with horror fans, and now Lionsgate plans to make a new trilogy that explores new killers and their next victims. Although not much is known about the plot yet, the campaign of this film has been a success, and it seems that we are facing a new saga that could become a cult of horror cinema.
A Quiet Place: Day One – June 27
This will be a prequel to the film written and directed by John Krasinski. In this film we will discover how the creatures first came to Earth and destroyed all those creatures and human beings they met (or rather, heard about) on their way. The film will star Lupita Nyong’O (who you saw in Black Panther) and Joseph Quinn (who you may remember from playing Eddie in Stranger Things).
Maxxxine – July 5

Trap – August 1
From the mind of the polarizing M. Night Shyamalan, this new film remains a mystery. In reality, the little that is known about it is that it will have an incredible cast and that it will happen during a concert, where the attendees must solve a murder mystery if they want to escape from there alive.
Alien: Romulus – August 15
Directed by the Mexican, Fede Álvarez, this new installment of the Xenomorph will take us to a distant world, where the most dangerous alien in cinema will face a group of young people who had never before met a creature as terrifying as this one. Smile 2-October 18
The first installment of this franchise left us wanting more, and it has already become a new classic of horror cinema. In this new story we will learn more about the curse that stalked Doctor Rose Cotter in the first film.
Terrifier 3 – October 31
Needless to say, Art the clown became one of the scariest characters in recent years. In this new installment, this ruthless killer will return and try to find his next great victim. If you were a fan of the previous installments, this one will only leave you wanting much more.
Nosferatu – December 25
This remake directed by Robert Eggers (The VVitch) has been one of the most anticipated premieres of the year.
