With only three days on display, Inside Out 2 has already become Pixar’s best release in its history. The film has managed to gross over $295 million worldwide, so there’s a good chance we’ll see a third installment at some point.
Although nothing is confirmed yet, a sequel to Inside Out may arrive in several years, and it is that the first installment was released in 2015, that is, 9 years ago, so the third would take a few more years to arrive.
It should be noted that a few weeks ago, Jim Morris, current president of Pixar assured that the creative teams of the company are going to adjust to balance the sequels and the original ideas so that both get the same interest and reception from the public.
These are some of the emotions that we could see in a possible third installment of Inside Out
Having said all the above, we started to think a little more about what could be the new emotions that we would see in a third installment of Inside Out, and it has been mentioned that Pete Docter, director of the first installment, had a list of 27 emotions, so many that were discarded, could be taken up in another movie.
Depression
One of the great successes of Inside Out 2 was to introduce us to Anxiety, one of the emotions that many of us can identify with, but what if the next obstacle is depression? This is, without a doubt, an emotion that many of us have experienced.

Empathy
Although we’ve seen flashes of empathy in Riley throughout these two films, there has yet to be an emotion as such that represents her, however, we already know that it’s there and that we’ll possibly see it when Riley is much older.
Stress
Yes, anxiety is a very close cousin of stress, and now that Riley is reaching high school, we may see her face new social, romantic, and school challenges that make her enter episodes of crisis like the one we already saw in Inside Out 2.
Love
And speaking of the romantic aspect, one of the emotions that many of us are interested in seeing is love, how will Pixar’s creatives understand it? How would it affect Riley? Would it take control of his head? This is, without a doubt, an emotion that we all want to know on screen.

Jealousy
Sadly, jealousy is inherent in us, and that’s not bad, but the best thing we can do to confront it is to admit that it exists and find a way to work on it. Now that Riley is in high school, she may start to feel jealous of her classmates or much more.

Wish
Yes, feeling a desire for someone or something is part of growing up, and since Riley is already in high school and about to become a full-fledged teenager, she may start to be attracted to other people. Although it is not confirmed, many think that Riley felt some attraction to the leader of the Fire Hawks, although, who knows? (We all know that.)

Wrath
This is also very close to anger but on a much larger level. Anger is also a feeling that makes us explode, but it is ultimately necessary for human beings.

Triumph
Fulfillment is special for everyone, and now that Riley is going to grow up, she will surely seek to surpass herself and go as far as her abilities allow. Triumph is something that we should all feel at least once in our lives.
