The usual expectation is to celebrate excellence, but there’s an annual event that flips the script by showcasing the worst of the worst. It’s known as the Golden Raspberry Awards, or simply the Razzie Awards.
Also known as the “anti-Oscars,” this ceremony is precisely to award the worst of cinema and acting.
This 44th edition was dominated by Expend4bles, the fourth installment of the franchise with the same name, starring characters like Jason Statham, Sylvester Stallone, 50 Cent, and Megan Fox. It had seven nominations, including one for Worst Picture.
Following closely, with five nominations each, were The Exorcist: Believer and Winnie the Pooh: Blood & Honey. The latter became the winner of the night.
