Without a doubt, Adele is one of the favorites among the LGBTIQ+ community, not only because she always reaches out and shows her support, but also because of how much fun she has in gay bars, taking the edge off and chanting along to some of her fellow artists. Last weekend she did it again by celebrating an LGBTIQ+ Pride gathering in Miami Beach by going to a community bar to hang out with her fans and give them a taste of her talent but in songs of other big stars.
Some videos and photos of the performer during her visit to the Twist nightclub, where she performed songs such as “Teenage Dream,” Katy Perry‘s 2010 hit, or “Titanium,” which Sia made popular in 2011, went viral on social networks. In the viral recordings, the “Rolling In the Deep” singer looked so happy, cheerful, and energetic, that she infected all the internet users, many of whom said they were envious of not having been able to live that special moment next to their idol.
Although Adele spent most of the evening in a VIP section of the club, at some points she also mingled with the rest of her fans to dance to a few songs, share a few drinks, take some pictures, give autographs, and simply show her pride and love for this community that has embraced her since her beginnings.
And this is not the first time the “Easy On Me” performer made a similar move, as in March 2019, she was also captured going to the gay bar Pieces, in New York City, in the company of her friend and actress Jennifer Lawrence, according to Bustle.
On that girls’ night out, both were spotted dancing, drinking, getting into a few shenanigans, and even participating in some bar games like “Musical Shots” along with several club-goers, which Adele actually lost. “You’re the biggest drinker I know, how could you lose?” said Lawrence to the singer at one point when she took over the microphone from the DJ who was entertaining the night.
In February 2002, Adele made a surprise appearance at another London nightclub following her appearance at that year’s BRIT Awards, where she accompanied Cheryl Hole, star of “RuPaul’s Drag Race UK,” to judge a striptease contest, a moment that was immortalized by fan videos and on the drag queen’s networks.
“Confirmed: @Adele was devastated I was eliminated on Drag Race too. Love you divalina,” Hole wrote on his social networks at the time.
