Billie Eilish Teases New LGBT Anthem

Only a few people found out, but Billie Eilish was present at a DJ Set at Coachella 2024 where she delivered an incredible performance, but what has drawn the most attention from this little presentation was an extremely explicit and LGBT-themed song that many of us are already expecting to hear.

The song is titled ‘Lunch’, and although nothing is confirmed, it is expected to be the second musical track from her upcoming album, ‘Hit Me Hard And Soft’, of which we already know some important things thanks to the ingenious way in which this material has been presented to us via close friends.

A few days ago, Billie Eilish fans were surprised to notice that the singer had added all her followers to her private close friends list on Instagram, and this was a strategy to show us a little more of everything that is coming for her next album, which is just weeks away from officially premiering on digital music platforms.

‘Lunch’, The explicit song that will become an LGBT anthem

Billie Eilish’s surprise appearance at Coachella took place on Friday, April 12, after the singer accompanied Lana Del Rey on the main stage of the event to sing ‘Ocean Eyes’ and ‘Videogames’.

However, the real surprise came afterwards when the singer of ‘What Was I Made For?’ appeared at the DoLab, a special Coachella party that very few have access to, and where she performed 3 of the songs that will be part of her next album: ‘Lunch’, ‘Chihiro’, and ‘L’Amour De Ma Vie’.

Immediately, ‘Lunch’ was embraced by the audience, and the singer referred to this song as ‘the gay anthem of the year’ due to its extremely explicit, passionate, and seductive lyrics. Just to give you an idea, here are some of the lyrics:

I could eat that girl for lunch
Yeah, she dances on my tongue
Tastes like she might be the one
And I can never get enough
I could buy her so much stuff
It’s a craving, not a crush

Those who were present at the event didn’t hold back their excitement and immediately started posting videos on social media to let the world know what awaits us with Billie Eilish’s upcoming album.

As an additional piece of information, and going against the usual trend, Billie Eilish announced that she will not release any singles before premiering her new album and that, it seems, the performance she gave at Coachella 2024 was the chosen venue to debut the songs from her next record.

Fans Reaction to Billie Eilish’s new song

In addition, Billie Eilish was seen stealing a kiss from an American YouTuber and TikToker known as Quenlin Blackwell, who creates beauty and comedy content for her followers. Although they had previously acknowledged each other as friends, it is possible that a secret relationship exists between them after seeing the kiss they shared.

When does Billie Eilish’s next album come out?

According to the singer’s social media, who currently has over 65 million streams on the Spotify music platform, her next album ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft’ is scheduled to be released next Friday, May 17th, both in streaming and physical formats.
