Shakira has just given us the best boost to heal heartaches with her new album Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran (Women Don’t Cry Anymore). After so much anticipation, endless speculation, and more, we can finally listen to all 16 songs that make up this album. It took seven years and a tremendous heartbreak for Shakira to come back full force to the music world, something that we appreciate.
What Is Shakira’s New Album About?
While we practically already heard half of her album, which carries a heavy load of indirect messages against Piqué and those who hurt her deeply, other songs that hurt beautifully are added. Shakira shows us the process we face when ending a relationship, how we digest it until we accept it, and then close that chapter for a new beginning, but now with more strength and security.

So if you’re in any of these phases, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran will undoubtedly be your perfect companion and that little push to want to do it because… we can overcome that and more!
Shakira Thanks Her ‘she-wolves’
Shakira is one of the most beloved artists, and this was evident in the cuddles and support she received from her fans after her breakup with Piqué due to infidelity. The Colombian found solace in music, but in her fans, she found that Band-Aid and the will to keep giving it her all. That’s why she thanked them with some beautiful words.
She described this creative process as “alchemical,” highlighting that “writing each song, I reconstructed myself. Singing them, my tears turned into diamonds and my vulnerability into resilience.” Undoubtedly, after listening to this new album by Shakira, we can only thank her for this musical gem.
