What a good time to be alive and be a fan of Twilight, and Netflix has announced that Edward Cullen‘s never-before-seen story will be coming to the platform soon. Here’s everything we know about it so far.
Midnight Sun, Netflix and Twilight’s New Animated Series
Netflix is developing an animated series of ‘Midnight Sun’, from the Twilight universe. By now you may already know what ‘Midnight Sun’ is about, but for those people who don’t know yet, this novel by Stephanie Meyer was published in 2020 and is a complementary version of the original Twilight saga, however, it is narrated from the perspective of Edward Cullen, which gives a different perspective to the story we already know.

Seems like Team Edward has won, and Netflix announced that it is already preparing an animated series of this novel that will soon arrive on the platform.
Although this project is still in development, it is already fully confirmed by Netflix and we already know that ‘Midnight Sun’, the next animated series will have the participation of Stephanie Meyer as executive producer of the project while Sinead Daly (who has already worked on other successful series such as ‘The Walking Dead: World Beyond’ from Fox and ‘Raised by Wolves’ from Max) will also executive produce and write the series.
So far, it is unknown if Robert Pattinson or Kristen Stewart will be back to voice their characters, however, this is unlikely, but who knows? in one of those we have the great surprise of his return.
