As if it were a scene from the movie Jumanji, a funny video began to circulate on social media in which two monkeys infiltrating to a hotel are seen entering a buffet in the Riviera Maya to steal some bananas. The recording quickly went viral and has left users both surprised and shocked.

Funny Video of Two Monkeys Infiltrating to a Hotel to Steal Fruit

The curious incident of two monkeys infiltrating to a hotel was recorded by tourists who were at the hotel. In the clip of just 15 seconds, you can see how the monkeys enter the restaurant “without warning”, climb onto the counter, take some bananas and then head for the exit door.

In the recording, some attendees can also be heard reacting in surprise, while others laugh or cheer the animals for their brave feat. So far, the video has been played more than 400 thousand times and has generated all kinds of comments, from those who claim that the hotel invaded the monkeys’ habitat, to those who joked about Monkey’s smallpox.

The reactions that initially caused tenderness and laughter, soon changed course with some comments questioning the reasons behind the “theft” of some bananas.

“It’s their habitat and unfortunately they have built hotels or other tourist spaces taking away their place.” “Those are not monkeys, they are part of the family.” “Technically it is not theft.” “Poor things, they are charging something on account of what has been taken from them in their habitat.” “The question is… how hungry were they to do that… how sad,” were some of the reactions to the video.

Two monkeys infiltrating to a hotel

The video of two monkeys infiltrating to a hotel also recalled a scene from the film Jumanji starring the late American actor Robin Williams, who after starting a magic board game gets trapped inside it, but 25 years later returns to continue it, bringing with him all kinds of creatures that wreak havoc on the city, including a pack of monkeys.

Spider monkeys are generally not aggressive and always stay away from humans at home who need to flee in case of danger.
