The platform once dominated Brazilian social media, playing a pivotal role in nationwide protests and political discourse. However, under Musk’s leadership, X has seen a significant decline in users, with many migrating to alternative platforms like Bluesky and Threads.
The suspension of X in the country has not only weakened its position in the market but has also ignited a broader debate about the role of social media in democracy and the power wielded by tech giants like Musk.
