The image was shared by former Pentagon official Luis Elizondo, who previously served as a counterintelligence specialist in the U.S. Army and led the military’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program.

At a private event held earlier this week in Philadelphia, Elizondo revealed the intriguing image, which was taken in high resolution—a rarity in the UFO world.
According to Elizondo, the photograph was taken in 2022 by the U.S. Embassy in Romania.
In Elizondo’s words, the impressive object resembles a kind of mothership, possibly similar to a small extraterrestrial city, seen floating in the sky in broad daylight.
The Truth Behind the Extraterrestrial Mothership?
While the image of the supposed extraterrestrial mothership immediately captivated the world, it didn’t take long for skeptics to question its authenticity.
Several people began tracing the origin of the material, including John Greenewald Jr., who runs The Black Vault. Greenewald suggested that the image might have originated from a post made on September 13, 2023, in the Facebook group “Mysterious Ancient Discoveries.”
Greenewald indicated that although the image is impressive, his investigation suggested it may actually be the reflection of an indoor chandelier in a window.
