Princess Anne, younger sister of King Charles III, was hospitalized after suffering minor injuries and a concussion while horseback riding, one of her great hobbies.
Considering the situation of the monarchy, with the cancer diagnoses of Kate Middleton and the king himself, this news was another great scare that immediately trended in the United Kingdom.
What happened to Princess Anne?
Princess Anne is 73 years old and, throughout her life, she has always been known for her stupendous skill as a horse rider. That facet was even reflected in the famous television series, The Crown. This same week, at Kate Middleton’s comeback event, she participated in the well-known Trooping the Color parade where she also rode a horse.

This was the official statement from the British Crown:
“The Princess Royal has sustained minor injuries and concussion following an incident on the Gatcombe Park estate yesterday evening. The King has been kept closely informed and joins the whole Royal Family in sending his fondest love and well-wishes to the Princess for a speedy recovery.”
