La temporada de premios de 2024 arrancó este domingo con la 81ª edición de los Globos de Oro. En una ceremonia que buscaba renovarse y poner punto final a las polémicas pasadas de racismo y corrupción que mermaron la credibilidad de uno de los premios más relevantes, después de los Oscars.
En el primer domingo del año, las estrellas de Hollywood se citaron nuevamente en el hotel Beverly Hilton de Beverly Hills, en Los Ángeles, California, para premiar a lo mejor del cine y la televisión que ha llegado a las pantallas en 2023. Un año muy especial para la industria, luego de las huelgas de actores y escritores que tuvieron en vilo a la pequeña y gran pantalla.

A pesar de las huelgas, este año el cine arrancó con dos grandes películas que partieron como favoritas: Barbie, de la directora Greta Gerwig (que logró nueve nominaciones) y Oppenheimer (con ocho nominaciones).
Entre las novedades de esta edición, la Asociación de Prensa Internacional de Hollywood decidió otorgar un premio a lo mejor de la comedia stand-up y otro galardón por logros cinematográficos y de taquilla.
En tanto, en televisión, ‘Succession‘ de Apple TV+ partió como la gran favorita, junto ‘The Crown‘ de Netflix.
