Eiza González has not stopped succeeding in Hollywood. However, not all of her life has been rosy, as she confessed that throughout her career, she has had to face many rejections.
Recently, she revealed that she has lost several roles that she would have liked to play simply because she is too beautiful.
Contrary to what most people might think, her great beauty has not opened all the doors of Hollywood for her. Instead, in some instances, it has kept her away from the spotlight.
Eiza explained during a recent interview that in the past, when she tried to get important roles, some productions ended up denying them to her because they considered her too beautiful for the profile they were looking for.
“I remember being chosen for so many projects: ‘She’s too pretty for the role. She’s too attractive for the role.’ So I would just say: What about Margot Robbie? She’s the sexiest and most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen in my life!” she stated.
Despite the complications, the actress has never given up and has continued trying because she is aware that Mexican representation is lacking in international cinema.

That’s why she feels a great responsibility to change that and from where she is now, work to gradually give Mexico more opportunities.
Eiza González could be the new Wonder Woman
Can you imagine Eiza González as the new Wonder Woman? Well, believe it or not, the talented Mexican actress could be very close to becoming the new DC heroine, replacing Gal Gadot.
Rumors that González could bring the heroine to life skyrocketed after the actress left an enigmatic comment on a post by director James Gunn.
Through her social media, Gunn posted an image of the heroine accompanied by the message “Happy Wonder Woman Day,” to which Eiza responded with another comment saying, “This image is the right one.”
This simple comment sparked excitement among fans of the fictional superheroine and led to numerous theories about her involvement in the role, which doesn’t actually seem like a bad idea.
