Above all the details that have been coming out from Gypsy Rose Blanchard‘s first week as a free woman, perhaps the reports of her wanting to contact Kim Kardashian might be the best and the one with possibilities to come out with something positive.
According to TMZ, Gypsy wants to meet Kim to have a serious discussion on prison reform. As we all know, the Kardashian mogul has been studying to become a lawyer, and one of her side projects is working hard with organizations to make prison reforms and help inmates who have been either wrongfully convicted or sentenced to the chair for minor charges.

Gypsy Rose, on the other hand, spent eight years in prison and has some feedback on how life inside the system works. Now, according to TMZ, sources close to Gypsy claim she’s really willing to work next to Kim to make some changes and wants her feedback and expertise on the subject.
It isn’t the first time Gypsy’s intentions are made public. It all started in 2017 when Kim shared an Instagram post with her favorite true crime documentaries, one of them was Mommy Dead and Dearest, which focused on Gypsy Rose’s tragic case. Last November, while she was still in prison, Gypsy tweeted Kim, thanking her for recommending the documentary and added: “Maybe we should unite forces together to make real change with the justice system.”

So far, there hasn’t been any real contact between Gypsy Rose and Kim Kardashian, but sources claim the door is open for a conversation. It all now depends on the businesswoman, but it’s clear that at least Gypsy wants to use her newly-found popularity for something good and make a real change in prison reform.
Until that happens, people engaged with the case can now see another side of the story in the upcoming Lifetime docuseries The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard. It will be released from January 5 to 7 on Lifetime’s channel.
