“She is not connected to Matthew Perry at all,” stated her attorney, Mark Geragos. “Her full story will be revealed during the trial.” Geragos emphasized that public perceptions of Sangha are misleading and that there is another side to the story.
Sangha is facing charges related to Matthew Perry’s death, alongside four others, two of whom have already pleaded guilty. Investigations indicate that Perry’s death resulted from acute ketamine effects after he apparently drowned in a hot tub. Authorities have claimed that Sangha provided the ketamine to Perry through Erik Fleming, a drug dealer, and with the assistance of Kenneth Iwamasa, Perry’s personal assistant. Both Fleming and Iwamasa have admitted their guilt.
Additionally, Dr. Salvador Plasencia, another defendant in the case, has pleaded guilty. The trial for Sangha and Dr. Plasencia is scheduled to begin on March 4, 2025, with a preliminary hearing set for February 19, 2025.

During the investigation, police discovered 79 capsules of liquid ketamine, nearly 2,000 methamphetamine pills, hallucinogenic mushrooms, cocaine, and prescription drugs allegedly obtained fraudulently.
Sangha faces charges including conspiracy to distribute ketamine, maintaining a drug-related premises, and possession and distribution of methamphetamines.

One of her friends told the Daily Mail that she understood Jasveen worked in marketing and event planning for the rich and famous. “She knows a lot of people in the industry, her and I have been to the Golden Globes and the Oscars” also stating that she mixed with “a lot of celebrities.”
‘She’s always in the nicest designer clothes. She has a family that takes care of her. She has never been the type of person who needed money.’ the friend told the journal.
