The investigation into the death of actor Matthew Perry has led to five arrests, including a doctor and four alleged drug traffickers. Among them is Jasveen Sangha, infamously known as the “Ketamine Queen,” who is accused of supplying the drug that allegedly contributed to the Friends star’s death on October 28.
In a federal court appearance in Los Angeles last Thursday, Sangha, shackled and appearing innocent, pleaded not guilty to the charges related to Perry’s death.
Who is the “Ketamine Queen”?
Jasveen Sangha, 41, holds dual citizenship in both the U.S. and the U.K. She has earned the nickname “Ketamine Queen” of Los Angeles due to her involvement in the drug trafficking trade and her reputation for supplying “high-quality products” to Hollywood celebrities.
She reportedly offered other substances, including methamphetamine and magic mushrooms, being ketamine her signature product.

Sangha was arrested last Thursday and is among those accused of being involved in Perry’s death, along with Dr. Salvador Plasencia, 42. She allegedly sold Perry 50 vials of ketamine worth $11,000 in cash over two weeks.
According to prosecutor Martin Estrada, Sangha worked with Perry’s assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, and another individual, Eric Fleming, to supply the drugs.
The accusations suggest that Sangha lived in a neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, where authorities discovered a “stash” of ketamine and other substances in her home after months of investigation. Officials described her residence as a “drug emporium.”

The Ketamine Queen and Her Life of Luxury
During the police operation, authorities found 79 capsules of liquid ketamine, nearly 2,000 methamphetamine pills, hallucinogenic mushrooms, cocaine, and prescription drugs.
On social media, Jasveen Sangha flaunted a lavish lifestyle, sharing photos from trips to Mexico, Spain, Italy, Greece, Japan, France, and Dubai. She also showcased extravagant makeovers, shopping sprees at luxury stores, and dinners at exclusive restaurants in Los Angeles.

One of her friends told the Daily Mail that she understood Jasveen worked in marketing and event planning for the rich and famous. “She knows a lot of people in the industry, her and I have been to the Golden Globes and the Oscars” also stating that she mixed with “a lot of celebrities.”
‘She’s always in the nicest designer clothes. She has a family that takes care of her. She has never been the type of person who needed money.’ the friend told the journal.
