After being in limbo for several months, Netflix has finally given the green light to the new Peaky Blinders adventure, and everything seems to indicate that their return will mark a new stage for this team of gangsters who have already won the hearts of the public.

Netflix confirms Cillian Murphy back as Thomas Shelby in Peaky Blinders
Although the details about the plot of this film remain under wraps, some very important information about what we will see on screen has already been revealed, starting with the return of Oscar-winning actor Cillian Murphy as the legendary Thomas Shelby.
Also, Netflix confirmed with a photo on its social networks that Steven Knight, original creator of the series, will be in charge of the script.
The director‘s chair in the Peaky Blinders film, will be occupied by Tom Harper, who has already directed some episodes of the first season of Peaky Blinders; and although it’s pretty obvious, Netflix will be in charge of distributing the film internationally.
“I’m genuinely thrilled that this movie is about to happen. It will be an explosive chapter in the Peaky Blinders story. No holds barred. Full on Peaky Blinders at war” said Steven Knight.
What still remains a mystery is the release date, and it had previously been mentioned before, is that the original plan was to release this film during 2024, however, everything seems to indicate that the new Peaky Blinders adventure could arrive until 2025 or 2026.
