There is a theory that points to Vera Wang as ‘guilty’ of several divorces, such as Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Aniston, Avril Lavigne, Kim Kardashian, and the most recent, Ariana Grande. They claim that her dresses carry a kind of curse that makes the person who wears one divorce soon after, and although there is nothing to prove it, there are some cases that make this belief stronger.
Kim Kardashian is the biggest proof, as she wore not just one Vera dress, but several, on her wedding day to basketball player Kris Humphries. Their marriage only lasted 72 days. Mariah Carey also opted for a Wang design for her marriage to businessman Tommy Mottola. They divorced five years later.
While the most recent case for which this theory was taken up is that of Ariana Grande, who appeared last weekend, with a new look in blonde, without Dalton Gomez, and her engagement ring. The couple would have decided to put an end to their love story just two years after their wedding.
